So, It's been a while since i have even posted on this blog. Normally I post on my personal blog, but today i decided that i had a lesson to share. So, here goes.
Ahem...
Change... is inevitable. It happens even if you don't want it to. Sometimes it's good change and sometimes it's change we don't like. But either way, it happens.
There's nothing you can do to stop it, unless of course you can freeze time. Then, of course, we are talking about something else entirely.
Anyways, while you cant change the fact that things are going to change no matter what, you can control one thing. And that is how you take change.
You can choose to fight it, or you can choose to embrace it. Sometimes it is hard, because, if you are anything like me, you have a hard time with getting into a new groove.
I don't know what it is, but I get so anxious when anything in my life changes. Anything like getting a new job, starting a new semester at school, getting new roommates, even changing plans at the last minute make me anxious.
And while i do get anxious, I've learned that everything will eventually be ok. Things might be hard at first. But i will get into the new swing of things soon enough and eventually, the cycle will start itself over.
This is a lesson that has been incredibly hard to learn, and that i am in fact still working on.
Because i can tell myself over and over again that change is inevitable, but no matter what... it still takes me by surprise.
Lesson... pending.
For now.

Procrastination is the Root of all Evil.
Yes... It is true. When you procrastinate, bad things happen. Like failing something because you were simply too lazy to do it. So how do we fix this problem? Don't procrastinate... think of it like your own personal "easy button".

Lesson #4: You GAIN weight when you don't excercise and don't eat healthy... :(
Yes....it is sad news. But still very true. You can lose weight if you do those things in the previous post. but dont do them.....and you gain back the weight you lost. Dang.

Lesson #3: You actually lose weight when you work out and eat healthy.
DUH! That's what you are probably saying right now. And i know i know....but i always doubted! I never realized that it ACTUALLY works. So as much as you should learn this lesson from others, you REALLY only learn this for yourself. So...
Lesson Learned....hopefully!

Lesson #2: Attitude is Everything!
As most of you know, I work at the local "Fun Zone", Wahooz! I am whats called a "Team Leader" which basically means an assistant to the manager on shift. We take care of little things that crew members need help with so that the manager can take care of more important matters. Normally Team Leaders are scheduled in an area where they can move around and be pretty much everywhere because there are normally only one or two on a shift. Today there were six on shift, which basically meant that there were more team leaders then crew members. Because we had so many, there was no need for me to be somewhere accessible, therefore I was stuck in Laser Tag. Let me enlighten you to my perspective of laser tag. Its a dark, fog filled room full of sticky little boys that don't listen to a word you say, so when you turn the game off becuase they broke the rules of "NO RUNNING" (which you only mentioned 7 times before the game started, and 8 times during the game) they get mad and complain and whine. Now multiply this by 32. So when i found out i was going to be stuck in Laser Tag....I was less than thrilled. I went back there expecting to be miserable, but instead decided to change something, which in turn, affected my entire day. This simple change, was a change of attitude. Because i made that one little change in myself, i was able to have one of the best days at work i have ever had! I made things fun and was super excited when little boys came into laser tag! I gave them high fives and made one person on each team the "official 'NO RUNNING' enforcer" and was happy the whole day. What i learned from this is that no matter where you are at in life, whether it's work, school, or a situation in life....attitude is everything!

Lesson #1: An Upset Mother Leads to an Upset Household
Mothers are the glue that hold the family together. She heals the sick, dries the tears, runs the errands, deals with drama, nags the lazy, and all around calms the storms. Without mothers.....life would be utter chaos. Moms are (for the most part) understanding, patient, loving, kind, forgiving, selfless, and pretty much all around amazing. When we want something special at the grocery store, we tell our mothers. When we are out of deodorant, toothpaste, or tampons/pads, who do we go to? Our mothers. But every once in a blue moon, the thread that holds our mothers together comes unraveled forcing everyone to take cover. If the glue comes unglued, what happens? Everything falls apart of course. And when mom is in a bad mood, EVERYONE is in a bad mood because there's no togetherness when there is no glue. So the moral of the story is: Don't make mom mad.

Lessons Learned
Through the 19 long years that i have lived my life, :) there are lessons that I've learned that i have decided should be shared. Some i have learned multiple times and I've decided that it would be best if i just wrote them down, some might be just plain stupid. But as we all know we learn best by our own mistakes. So, as of today this blog is dedicated solely to the lessons that life and other people have taught me.
